PARKER CHASE JOINS AIM VASSER SULLIVAN FOR MOTUL PETIT LE MANS

DALLAS, TX (September 19, 2019) – AIM VASSER SULLIVAN announced today that Parker Chase will join the team for the Motul Petit Le Mans, October 9-12 on the 2.54-mile, 12-turn Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta permanent road course in Braselton, Georgia.

"AIM VASSER SULLIVAN is pleased to announce that Parker (Chase) will be driving for our team during the Petit Le Mans race," said AIM VASSER SULLIVAN co-owner Jimmy Vasser. "Parker is a young, up and coming driver, and we look forward to helping him develop his career." 

AIM VASSER SULLIVAN campaigns two identically prepared Lexus RC F GT3s in the 2019 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. 

Chase joins Jack Hawksworth and Richard Heistand behind the wheel of the No. 14 AIM VASSER SULLIVAN Lexus. Last weekend, Hawksworth and Heistand, concluded the inaugural IMSA GTD Sprint Cup Manufacturer and Team Championship with a second-place finish. The No. 12 AVS Lexus RC F GT3 will be manned by Townsend Bell, Frankie Montecalvo and Aaron Telitz, who rejoins the team after driving in the previous three endurance races, including the Rolex 24 At Daytona, the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring and the Sahlen's Six Hours of the Glen.

Chase, 18, a native of New Braunfels, Texas, is one of North America's up and coming sports cars drivers. He began racing in Karts at the age of 10 winning multiple championships, is the 2016 Pirelli World Challenge Rookie of the Year and the 2018 World Challenge SprintX Pro/AM Champion.

Next up for AIM VASSER SULLIVAN will be the Motul Petit Le Mans, October 9-12 on the 2.54-mile, 12-turn Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta permanent road course in Braselton, Georgia. The race will be broadcast on October 12 starting on NBC from 12:00 to 3:00 pm (EDT), then NBC Sports from 3:00 to 5:30 pm (EDT) and concluding on NBCSN from 5:30 to 10:30 pm (EDT).
