PARKER CHASE ENTERS HOME EVENT PREPARED TO WIN

After kicking off the 2018 season at the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg with a podium result including the ‘Hard Charger’ and ‘Start of the Race’ awards, TruSpeed AutoSport driver Parker Chase will look to better those results this weekend at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA). With the pristine facility located less than an hour from his home, the 17-year-old will look to build off his first weekend behind the wheel of an Audi R8 LMS GT3 as he returns to the site of a double podium result last season.

Taking place over the March 23-25 weekend, Chase will pilot the #19 Vertical Bridge / New Braunfels Convention and Visitors Bureau / ProBalance Protein Water / Music Movement Audi R8 in rounds three and four of the 2018 Pirelli World Challenge program. Competing in the Sprint GT category alongside sportscar superstar and new teammate Ryan Dalziel, the duo is primed and ready to attack the track this weekend and have their goals set high.

“It was a decent start to the season but I am definitely gunning for better results in Austin,” explained Chase. “I think I have a better feel of the Audi R8 LMS GT3 and some experience in race conditions as it is much different than what I drove last year. COTA is one of my favorite tracks and I think I will have a great chance to stand atop the podium.”

Chase continued, “We have many sponsors, partners and guests coming to the track this weekend. With more than 125 expected on both Saturday and Sunday, it will be a busy but fun weekend.”

Leading up to the race weekend, Parker Chase will take part in the unofficial Promoters Test Day on Thursday, March 22. Finishing his on track testing late in the afternoon, Chase will trade his race suit in for some business casual wear as he attends the Audi North/South Austin, Audi Sport customer racing and Circuit of the Americas Audi Driving Experience meet and greet from 6:00 to 9:00 pm on Thursday, March 22. Furthering his Audi experience, Chase will also visit the Audi Experience suite to discuss the on track action, post race interviews as well as meet and greets throughout the weekend.

Parker Chase would like to thank his marketing partners for their continued support. A big thank you to Vertical Bridge, ProBalance Protein Water, New Braunfels Convention and Visitors Bureau, Sparco, Audi Sport, TruSpeed AutoSport, Music Movement and RTD Media & Management.
