Ginetta Young Development Driver Parker Chase is rapidly becoming tipped as a rising motorsport star across paddocks in the UK and USA. The Texan native has been making headlines once again thanks to his success behind the wheel of his Ginetta G55 GT4 car.
Chase kicked off the 2017 motorsport season with an entry into British GT in Ginetta’s G55 GT3 car but elected to focus his attentions on another PWC effort in a bid to replicate the successes he enjoyed in 2016, back behind the wheel of his Ginetta GT4.
This year, he’s contested eight PWC races, and picked up a pair of second places at Circuit of The Americas in Austin, TX as well as a third place finish in St. Petersburg, FL. Driving the Performance Motorsports Group prepared Enertech Resources / Protein Water by ProBalance / New Braunfels Convention and Visitors Bureau / City of New Braunfels backed Ginetta G55, the talented Texan drove from dead last to stand on the podium at the Circuit of The Americas, proving his might as a star of the future.
Parker Chase, Driver; “The Ginetta is no doubt the best car on the market. Personally, what I like about the G55 is that it's light weight helps keep the tires under me the entire race. Over a long run we are always the most consistent towards the end of a stint which is what really helps in the Pirelli World Challenge program with no mandatory pit stops required.”
At just 16 years old, Chase’s motorsport success is unprecedented. Last year he was crowned ‘Rookie Of The Year’ honours in Pirelli World Challenge (PWC). Competing in 19 PWC races, Chase took a trio of second places, five thirds and a whopping 10 top five finishes.
The Ginetta G55 GT4 car was the first car Parker drove on his graduation from karting, and he hasn’t looked back since. With global success, it’s clear to see why he chose the Ginetta as his weapon of choice.
